The R3 is an affordable, full-fledged synthesizer providing sophisticated synthesis and advanced sound creation. Compact and light-weight, the R3 offers 37 full-size, velocity sensing keys - along with two-timbre/eight-voice performance power. Using the acclaimed MMT (Multiple Modeling Technology) derived from Korg's RADIAS, the R3 delivers thick, gutsy, and crisp analog sounds. More than a performance synthesizer, the R3 is an audio workhorse. The vocoder allows Formant Motion recording to recreate complex vocoder effects without relying on the microphone input. External audio processing, powerful arpeggiation and Modulation Sequencing open the door to complex groove creation. The scribble-strip displays provide accurate editing information. Amplifier Drive, Waveshaping, Virtual Patching and Motion Record open the door to powerful synthesis techniques. Built-in effects (both insert and master), two-band EQ and the Pitch and Mod wheels deliver a finishing touch. Plug-in/Stand-alone editing software is included.
